Our Cybersecurity Training & Mentoring Programme is now recognised within the NCSC Assured ecosystem and approved to deliver the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Cybersecurity Practices, ensuring fully CyBOK-aligned training for career changers and aspiring cyber professionals.
Why does this matter?
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) partners with APMG International, the independent certification body responsible for assessing:
- Cybersecurity training providers
- Trainer capability and industry experience
- Course quality and accuracy
- Alignment with CyBOK (Cyber Security Body of Knowledge), the UK’s national standard
- Relevance to modern cyber, GRC, and assurance practices
Only programmes that meet these rigorous benchmarks become NCSC Assured.
Lateral Connect has successfully passed this assessment, and we have also been approved to deliver the NCFE Level 3 cybersecurity qualification, offering learners a nationally recognised foundation for early cyber careers.
